This story was updated on February 17 with new details about the Samsung S25 Ultra Deal.
Samsung has launched a new Galaxy S25 Ultra Trade offer that pays a high price for your old, unused smartphone.
The deal applies to the UK store Samsung and promises to pay £ 200 ($ 251) for each smartphone, at any cost, when you buy the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The Korean company has run similar promotions before, offering £ 100 ($ 126) outside the Galaxy Watch Fe for every intelligent hour at any cost.
This agreement, however, is one of the most generous deductions because there seems to be no restriction on how old the phone is traded. Conditions and conditions do not mention any restrictive warning in equipment accepted for this offer.
However, there is a dedicated Samsung website for the equipment it will accept. A specific “every smartphone” promotion section does not seem to be updated because there are no Galaxy S25 categories, nor is the £ 200 offer.
Your old phone is still worth something
I checked with Samsung to confirm if the deal will really mean any Smartphone (using Google Pixel 1 2016 as an example) and the company confirmed that the formulation is correct. The testimony will be in pudding, so if someone successfully gets £ 200 for sending to an old dizzying device, contact.
If the Korean company honors the promotion, you can cheat through your storage for an old device and get an easy £ 200 from your next phone. Or, head to eBay, swappa (or a second -hand local telephone store) and buy a super free phone.
By trawling through eBay, I found the sale of Pixel 4A for under 50 £ (62.98 $), Galaxy S2 for 21 pounds (26.45 $ and listed as a “collective”), or Galaxy S6 for under 40 £ (50.38 $) . Samsung says “every situation”, but I suspect it is marketing that speaks that it actually means scratches and tents are acceptable.
The trade questionnaire asks if the phone is contained in the following criteria. But I’m not convinced that this is not worth the new promotion. “Condition every condition” and “no cracks on the screen” are contradictory.
- The device strengthens and holds the load.
- Have a functioning screen.
- No sign of screen burning, ghost image, staining, colorful colors or image retention.
- Normal clothing and tears.
- No cracks on the screen.
At least, you are likely to need to make sure the phone is switched on and the battery is not damaged (you can see if it is expanded by looking at the back of the phone). It may be harder to find eight -year -old phones that are still in working order. If you decide to get this Ultra Samsung Galaxy S25 deal and it works, let me know.
Update Feb 17: Samsung has not extended this promotion to US buyers, but it has started a new deal for Galaxy Z Fold 6. Offers knock $ 300 from the price of the title for Samsung’s folding phone, reducing the price to $ 1,599.99 without a trade. If you have a device to submit, Samsung will pay good money for old technology.
Strategically, the Korean company is offering the highest amount ($ 1000) for the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Typically the full amount of trade is reserved for last year’s technology, which is not a good deal. Extending $ 1000 on a two -year phone is definitely more seductive and gently more justifiable. A more realistic trade to make is $ 900 for Galaxy Z Fold 3, or $ 750 for the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Somewhere else, if you join the Galaxy Ring with the Ultra S25, Samsung will knock $ 179.55 from the dress. The company will also subtract any other outfit (purchased or folding 6 or S25 ultra) by 30%.
